Elements that require extra strength use thicker steel, not lamination!Additional inspection holes in the legs and all crossmembers so the chassis can be washed inside. No restrictions. It is possible to make a chassis for a specific application – off road racing, overlanding ect. Equipped with additional fuel and water tanks, different wheelbase, non Land Rover engine and gearbox.
BASIC version of Land Rover DEFENDER 130 Universal (based on Td5) ULTRA HEAVY DUTY chassis – basic level of our highest quality product supplied with the correct rear and gearbox crossmembers, ready to fit standard brackets.
Ultra Heavy Duty chassis come standard with bolted Universal Engine Mount Plates and bolted LT77 gearbox mounts, which let you prepare any other mounts without interfering in chassis galv layer.
If you prefer to have standard engine/gearbox mounts in the chassis, please specify in the comments when ordering.
